論文結論:N-hexane, ethyl acetate [EtOAc] and n-BuOH of the culture broth from Antrodia cinnamomea were assayed with 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging and superoxide radical scavenging (SOD) assay. In EtOAc layer exhibited the best antioxidant activity, and isolated major antioxidant metabolites.

Chen et al demonstrated in human lung cancer cell A549 that antcin A was the active ingredient responsible for the anti-inflammatory effect of Antrodia camphorata, which mechanism triggered by glucocorticoids4. Hsien et al recently showed another anti-inflammatory activity compound, antrocamphin A, from Antrodia camphorata, resulted from suppressing pro-inflammatory molecule release via down-regulation of iNOS and COX-2 expression through NF-κB pathway5. Both the studies provide the potential of Antrodia camphorata to treat inflammation.
